KASITA SOFA/BED CASE STUDY

The Kasita Sofa/Bed was a case study that prompted me to design a sofa/bed for dual-purpose functionality and integration into a Kasita. I had under 48 hours and certain design requirements to come up with a design, provide a 3D model of the design, include critical dimensions, and draft a bill of materials for the project. I used several parts from McMaster-Carr in the assembly to accurately model a replica of what a real prototype of my design would look like. This project relied heavily on my experience with CAD modeling and assemblies, as well as designing a project to match a given aesthetic.
